WELCOME TO THE VERY BEAUTIFUL CITY….. ZURICH
GROSSMUNSTER:-GROSSMUNSTER is one of ZURICH’S most famous landmark and one of the four major churches in ZURICH. The view from the outside is great. At the entrance of the church you finds boards written in different languages giving you an all details and an over view of the church like history, architectur and stain glasses information. You can also go to the top to see the beautiful and amazing views of ZURICH and lake. So must visit this place.
BAHNHOFSTRASSE:-This is the MAIN STREET in downtown and well known SHOPPING AREA. It is one of the most expensive shopping streets in the world. Most of the shops in this area are international brands like ARMANI, GUCCI, CARTIER etc. This sculpture is made of beautiful white marbel and is framed by two pillars from GRANITE. It runs parallel to the river LIMMAT. Department stores, boutiques and jewellery shops are one of the main reason for visiting and exploring this areas. So must visit this place.
LINDENHOF:-The LINDENHOF is a quaint square on a little hill in the heart of the ZÜRICH’S old town. It is situated at the EASTERN bank of the LIMMAT. It offers magnificent views of the river and surrounding hills. Many lime tress make it a very pleasant quite spot in the OLD TOWN. It is one of the best place for photo of the skyline of ZURICH. So go and enjoy this place.
LAKE ZURICH:-This LAKE is the main natural attraction and activity site in the city. Northern part of the lake is surrounded by city and southern part by mountains. So the lake offers great views on nature, water and mountains or an old town panorama. This area is very famous for relax and many other outdoor activities like INLINE SKATE, SUNBATH and MANY WATER SPORTS. So must go and enjoy your day at this place.
LIMMAT:-THE LIMMAT river is at the center of ZURICH. It is a car free road in ZURICH. It provides amazing scenic views through out ZÜRICH. It runs parallel to OLD TOWN and is just outside the TRAIN STATION. Basically the city Is built around the river. It Aldo gives you the opportunity to walk on the riverside and providing wonderful views. So this is a most recommended place to visit.
ST.PETER CHURCH:-This church was built in 9th century and it is one of the oldest church in ZURICH. This church Is also known for its big clock on this tower. This church Is located on a hill on the left bank of OLD ZURICH. The base of the tower is constructed in late ROMANIC style and the upper side in GOTHIC Style. So go and watch this LANDMRK church of ZURICH.
SWISS NATIONAL MUSEUM:-This is s niceu MUSEUM with small collection of ZURICH and SWITZERLAND history. The exterior of the museum Is really quite attractive. The museum gives an overview of SWISS history from PREHISTORIC ITEMS till now with a focus on the middle ages and the struggle for SWISS INDEPENDENCE.
ZOO ZURICH:-This ZOO is located on top of ZURICH. It contains a lot of animals out and in door. There are many things to be seen and you can even enjoy your whole day with animals. It is a popular destination for kids. This Is one of the world’s largest zoo with 11000 square meters of rain forest in the MASOALA house, 320 animal species and the zoolino children zoo. So its pleasant to visit this zoo with your family and children.
UETLIBERG:-UETLIBERG is ZURICH’S very own local MOUNTAIN. It is about ten to fifteen minutes train ride of ZURICH into the mountains surrounding the city. There is a tower on top of the hill where you can see the city, the mountains in the background and LAKE ZURICH in all it’s might.So don’t miss this wonderful place especially at sunset.
